Hello, Recently we have upgraded some of our computers to Windows The same issue happening again The issue occurs in Word with images as well. Spice 11 Reply This has something to do with the 'scaling' It will work properly again when the user will log off and log back on Look in the Display settings if the screen scale is set to 'recommended' And in advanced scaling setting make sure Windows is allowed to fix apps that they're not blurry hope that helps Spice 1 flag Report.
Thank you, when I get on his computer again I will try this and let you know what happens. RyTheITGuy21 wrote: spiceheadht3 I tried this the settings were set correctly, it was set to recommended scaling and fix apps that are blurry was checked. If all the settings are set correctly. Check the resolution of the screen it's the best if that in line with what's recommended for the monitor. You can try drivers before changing the monitor of course if that is more convenient that connecting a second physical monitor on the side.

Or is it just in Outlook ? Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Some of the smaller pop up windows of windows 10 seems also blurry, although I have not analysed it in more details. But for outlook I have really compared the quality with and without entering a scaling value of , and it makes a difference. Please note also that I am not the only one experiencing this issue as you can see on the following thread.
Windows should be able to detect this on its own, without me telling windows "hey the two monitors are not connected", please use a scaling adpated for the laptop screen. If the Compatibility tab is not present on Outlook shortcut properties, try to locate the actual program on the installation folder. To do so,.
As for changing the main display. Note: Windows will remember this setting so that every time you connect your external monitors, it will automatically switch the displays. Please read again the thread I referred to. Another user facing the same problem mentions also there is no compatibility tab. I have to set a custom scalling when using the external monitor. And when I am not using the two external monitors, I have to tell it to windows 10, because it does not notice it by itself!
Were there any changes made to your PC prior to this issue? You can also try opening Outlook in safe mode by following the steps on this article , this will launch Outlook on a basic state, disabling add-ins. Otherwise, repairing Outlook might help, here are the steps. Word was also affected when I did not set the scaling factor to when using the two monitors: see the following thread:.
So to summarize: you might want also to look for solutions in windows why does windows 10 keep a scaling factor of when the two monitors are not connected? For now, I have reverted back to Office on Windows 7 and have more or less given up on Office The fact that Microsoft don't care about this and haven't fixed it reflects incredibly badly on the company and all of its staff.
I have found it impossible to preserve the images intact. Once uploaded, the images look nothing like the original screenshots. As you can see, there is in fact blurriness. I am running Windows 7 and Word as a part of Office That allows the underlying style to show. Hopefully that is all you will have to do. If that removes ALL formatting, rather than reapplying it all manually, you should use a style to apply the desired formatting.
Could you put a copy of a sample document showing this problem in skydrive and give us an edit link to it so we can play with it. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.
